Tackling my first half marathon today in Falmouth, Cornwall. Let’s hear it for the Falmouth crowd!
I’m continuing to train for the London Marathon which has been postponed until Sun 4th October 2020 in aid of the Exeter CITY Community Trust and would of course really appreciate any donations you can manage.

Update Fri 10th Jan 2020:
Yes, there was a slight pause in training over Christmas and I’ve found a bit of ballast at the rear. On my return to training, there’s definitely more going on behind than there was before. It’s OK, it’ll go soon.

I’ve always wanted to be part of the London Marathon ever since I first saw it on the telly all those years ago, and now that I have a place, it would be a massively wasted opportunity if I didn’t try to raise some money for charity and I can’t think of a better charity than the Exeter CITY Community Trust.

Friday 11th October 2019 – Running the Marathon:
Marie has gained a place in the 2020 Virgin Money London Marathon.
She’s a bit stunned, hasn’t run since high school (they were called secondary schools back then), would like to run for a local Exeter cause and is currently inviting nominations for the best local charity, CIC or good cause.
